By using Sharingan ("the Bot", "the Service"), including the Discord bot and web dashboard at sharingan.bot, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Sharingan is a Discord bot that provides moderation, music playback, leveling, welcome messages, social feed notifications, and other community management features. The Service includes the bot itself and the web dashboard used to configure it.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using Sharingan, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you have the authority to agree to these terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a Discord server, you represent that you have the necessary permissions to do so.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service in compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
• Not use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purpose.
• Not attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service.
• Not use the bot to harass, spam, or target other users.
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.

5. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime, but the Service is provided "as is" without guarantees of availability. We may temporarily suspend or permanently discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss.

6. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described therein.

7. Intellectual Property

The Sharingan name, logo, and associated branding are our intellectual property. You may not use our branding without prior written permission. The "Sharingan" concept originates from the Naruto franchise by Masashi Kishimoto — this project is a fan-made Discord bot and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the franchise.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. This includes banning servers or users that violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sharingan and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us, which is zero for free users.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes via the support server or dashboard.
